H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will participate in the OSCE 21st Ministerial Council Meeting to be held in Basel on 4-5 December 2014.

During the meeting, the common challenges in the OSCE geography, including the Ukrainian Crisis, Crimea, and the fight against terrorism as well as the efforts for the resolution of the conflicts of Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transdniester will be discussed. The issues that relate to the developments taking place in the political-military, economic, and humanitarian dimensions of the OSCE in the process leading to the year 2015 which coincides with the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Helsinki Final Act in 1975 will also be on the agenda.

It is envisaged that H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, will hold bilateral talks with some of his counterparts within the framework of the meeting.
